armada shopping list

Check out our food shopping guide and a few cheeky, sunshine filled recipes brought to you by MasterChef quarter finalist and all round food lover @wandersups

A handy list to use when grabbing those all important yacht provisions for the week as well as some FUN inspiration to get creative.

Every night (other than the one night when we raft out in the bay), you and your crew will have a choice whether to venture onto the island and experience the local cuisines or cook on your boat for crew dinner.

There are also supermarkets on every island we visit so we suggest buying the basics (non perishables) all in one go at base and then top up with fresh treats as we go.

Depending on how adventurous you feel, you might want to share the cooking come dine with me style or nominate a head chef from your crew and just follow instructions!

Either way, this is what we suggest to stock up on throughout the week:

The basic provisions

  • Drinking water
  • Beers / wine/ spirits / mixers- your chosen floatie beverages
  • Milk
  • Cereal
  • Crisps / snacks
  • Toilet roll
  • Tea/ coffee
  • Any condiments (Tabasco for the bloody Mary’s anyone?)

Breaky — bread, yoghurts, fruit, eggs

Lunch time picnics- bread, wraps, salads, hams, cheeses, olives, crackers, dips

Dinner feasts — pasta, rice, sauce, pimp your pasta extras- we like sun dried tomatoes and Parmesan
